The Beauty and Illusion of Spiritual States

In the path of Life Force Activation/Kundalini Activation and Source Transmission, it is not uncommon to experience sudden moments of clarity. States where all separation seems to dissolve, where the heart bursts open, and the world feels entirely made of light. These moments are real. They are sacred. They can change the course of your life in an instant.
But they are not the destination.
These states are glimpses. Invitations. They show us what is possible, but they are not meant to be held on to. I often get asked, “How can I stay in that feeling of bliss or oneness?” And my answer is always, don't. Trying to hold on to a temporary state will only create suffering. It is like trying to freeze the ocean in one perfect wave. You miss the deeper current underneath.
True awakening is not a state. It is not about staying in constant bliss or clarity. It is about seeing through the illusion that you need to be in any particular state at all.
Because real freedom is not found in chasing highs. It is found in meeting whatever is here, exactly as it is. Whether it is joy or contraction, peace or grief. When you stop resisting the human experience, something deeper begins to awaken. Not a version of you, but consciousness itself. And this consciousness includes everything. Even your ego. Even your confusion.
The ego does not disappear. It just takes its rightful place. Not as the enemy, but as part of the human dance. When we try to kill off the ego, or shame ourselves for not being spiritual enough, we fall into a trap. I have seen people spiral into depression because they believed they were failing when the bliss wore off. But you are not failing. You are living. You are integrating.
And this is the paradox. The more we stop trying to hold on, the more those states begin to integrate. Not as highs to return to, but as a quiet knowing that lives within us. By being with what is, by staying present in the ordinary and the difficult, we begin to embody what those moments pointed to. We realize we are always that, even when thoughts or emotions cloud the view. There may be layers of conditioning, fear, or belief, but underneath it all, that truth remains untouched. And when we live from that place, life begins to move differently. Not from striving, but from remembering.
This work is not about becoming perfect. It is about becoming whole.
So let the divine states come. Let them open you, inspire you, teach you. And then let them go. Because what remains is something even more profound. Your capacity to be with life just as it is. That is the essence of non-duality. Not the experience of oneness, but the knowing that you are never apart from it, no matter what you are feeling.
Awakening is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you have always been. Even in your most human moments.
And that, truly, is grace.
This is one of the foundational teachings in Source Transmission. In The Initiation training, we explore this path not just as an energetic experience, but as a deep return to presence. We work with activation and equally with integration, because without integration, awakening remains a momentary glimpse. With it, life itself becomes the transmission.
This path is not for those seeking a quick fix or a constant high. It is for those ready to meet themselves fully. For those who long to embody truth, not just taste it. Who understand that real transformation comes not from escaping the human experience, but from living it in deep connection with what is always here.
With love,
Sigrid
